Webinar: Taking a Patient History

The network will be hosting a Microsoft Teams webinar entitled Taking a Patient History at 2pm Wednesday, 25th November 2020.

The presenter will be Kirsty Ellis, Clinical Scientist in Audiology at Bradford Teaching Hospitals Foundation Trust and a former STP. I would like to thank Kirsty on behalf of the committee for volunteering to deliver this presentation.

The itinerary will be:

  • 14:00 - 14:05: Introductions and housekeeping (Lee Moorhead)
  • 14:00 - 14:35: Interactive presentation (Kirsty Ellis)
  • 14:35 - 15:00: Q&A Session (your chance to ask questions or for advice)

This will assist in the preparation for the professional practice competency 16 (Under supervision, demonstrate that you can obtain and present a patient history from a normal volunteer or consenting patient in order to better understand the clinical decision-Making process in your clinical practice).

In non-Covid times, we were planning on running a workshop with this presentation to give people the opportunity to practice; as this is not possible given the current situation, we will be providing example scenarios for you to take away so you are able to practice yourselves.

If you are interested in attending, please Sign up here with your nhs email address; a meeting invite with Teams link will be send to you in due course.

Kind regards
The Committee
