With a new Director of People and Organisational Development who joined in August 2018, we are implementing a new People and Organisational Development structure serving our operational divisions. As part of this we have developed a new three divisional cluster structure. Each divisional cluster will be led by a Divisional Director of People. 

The HRBP role will report into the Divisional Director of People and line manage a small HR team and support the delivery of a professional HR business-partner and organisational development service to their areas.   

Our divisions are larger than many small hospitals so this offers a great opportunity for an HRBP to develop their skill set. Within the divisions, the HRBP role will have a broad portfolio, including employee engagement, resourcing, employee relations, talent management and workforce efficiency.  The HRBP role as part of their People and Organisational Development role will also support with the equality diversity and inclusion portfolio, alongside a specialist post.

This an exciting time to be joining this newly formed Divisional team. As outlined in the person specification, you will need to:

  • be passionate about people, and live and champion our values and behaviors
  • have track record of being able to support departments (through the management of their people) to deliver on organisational objectives and demonstrate a strong drive for improving performance
  • have senior experience at managing complex employee relations cases, managing change, implementing initiatives and coaching others
