Bike Week becomes Samsung Bike Week!

Bike Week is delighted to announce Samsung Electronics as its exclusive partner in 2012.

Samsung, an official partner of the London 2012 Olympic Games, will help Bike Week encourage even more people to get on their bike this summer and make this the biggest Bike Week yet.

With The London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay just around the corner, Samsung has created the Samsung Hope Relay, a relay all cyclists can take part in. The Samsung Hope Relay is a FREE and unique mobile app that will track the distance cycled using GPS. For every mile completed, Samsung will donate £1 to charities such as London-based Kids Company and London 2012's international sports legacy programme, International Inspiration.

The registered Bike Week events have been set up as teams on the Samsung Hope Relay app to allow organisers to encourage their participants to log their miles before, during and after the event. Olympic tickets will be given to the event that logs the most mileages leading up to the Olympic Games.
