1. Yes: the inconvenience for the patient is outweighed by the fact that this will reduce prescribing home oxygen to a group of people who don’t meet the LTOT guidelines

DH annouce new 'Quit Kit' campaign - pharmacies asked to order now

A new 'QuitKit' campaign will be running from Jan 2012 to March 2012 and the Department of Health is asking pharmacies to order their free QuitKits now.

The Quit Kit is a box of practical tools and advice to help smokers quit smoking. The new campaign will be supported by a national advertising encouraging smokers to visit their nearest participating pharmacy to pick up a Quit Kit.

Pharmacies are asked to order kits by calling 0800 678 3173
