Asthma UK launch travel awards for ERS Congress

Asthma UK launch travel awards for ERS Congress

This year’s Asthma UK Travel Awards will enable 20 successful healthcare professional applicants to attend the European Respiratory Society’s Annual Congress with up to £800 to cover registration, travel and accommodation. Closing date is 30 June.

Asthma UK is inviting applications from UK-based clinical and allied healthcare professionals, with an interest in clinical respiratory medicine, asthma and related allergy to apply for one of 20 Travel Awards to attend the European Respiratory Society’s 20th Annual Congress.

The 2011 Congress is taking place in Amsterdam, Holland from 24 to 28 September.

Applicants are asked to justify why they would like to attend the ERS Annual Congress, and how this will benefit their future work and career development.

Note: The closing date is Thursday 30 June and that only the first 40 applications received will be considered for these awards by the review panel when they meet the following week.
