SEC CCN Clinical and Governance Forum

Held twice yearly, venue variable.

The SEC CCN Clinical and Governance Forum aims to ensure that SEC CCN makes progress by facilitating support and consensus from the Network critical care providers to deliver Network work programme objectives. It provides a monitoring and review role in Network pathways and reports; reviews the exception reporting of SEC Critical Care Quality Reports, Adult Critical Care Specialised Services Quality Dashboard & provider ICNARC reports and undertakes the ratification of Network clinical pathways, clinical policies and clinical guidelines.

The SEC CCN Clinical and Governance Forum is responsible to NHSE South & South East for assurance and oversight of critical care pathways, service development and outcomes; this includes identification of variation and addressing results where required.

Sub Group Meetings 

Including EPPR, Rehabilitation, Transfer and Data Sub groups

To be convened as appropriate.

The sub groups will oversee the development of clinical policies, guidelines and pathways relating to the area of speciality.

Independent Hospitals Group Meeting

Held three times yearly – venue variable

SEC CCN organises and participates in the Independent Hospitals Group meeting which aims to promote communication and collaboration between independent providers of critical and enhanced care services and to foster partnership and shared learning between NHS and independent providers of critical care.
