Community trusts are gearing up to work in closer collaboration with primary care networks. Many are also making offers to provide a variety of support to PCNs. A new report from the NHS Confederation and NHS Providers gives examples including:

  • Employing new clinical staff
  • Providing HR and CPD functions
  • Giving access to legal advice
  • Supporting population health analytics
  • Sharing leadership development
  • Deploying quality improvement skills
  • Providing IT expertise
  • Offering to second managers and graduate trainees into PCNs

More details, and tips for community providers, are in the full report - https://nhsproviders.org/media/687950/primary-care-networks-a-quiet-revolution.pdf
