Churchill Medical Centre in Waltham Forest, London, is made up of 9 whole time equivalent GPs serving a patient population of over 14,300.  A high number of interruptions were occurring during patient consultations due to staff trying to locate missing stock and equipment. This was creating stress and frustrations for clinicians and a loss of clinical time. To tackle the issues the practice participated in the Productive General Practice (PGP) Quick Start programme.

The programme is delivered by NHS England and NHS Improvement and part of the Time for Care support available through the General Practice Forward View.
