The inaugural Network for Innovation in Mental Health meeting was arranged on behalf of Lundbeck* with an aim to support the delivery of high quality mental health services through sharing ideas, examples and good practice that may help senior stakeholders in achieving national and local NHS objectives across Scotland.

The multi-disciplinary audience met on 25th April 2018 to share ideas of best practice, increase their knowledge of national and local planned priorities, network, help understand the wider NHS Scotland priorities around severe mental illness at national and local levels, and identify actions to improve patient care within available budget. The programme featured case studies, workshops and presentations focusing on mental health priorities. The sessions and workshops were interactive and also included input from attendees on challenges and opportunities for services in their areas.

* This innovation network meeting was initiated and funded by Lundbeck Ltd and speakers were offered an honorarium for their time.
