RSPH Supports the establishment of National Association of Health Trainers

The Royal Society of Public Health, has expressed her support for the establishment of a National Association of Health Trainers in England. Speaking at the RSPH Office at Nine Elms Street London, Richard Parish, Chief Excutive of the Society said that they were 100% behind the idea. Heather Davison eachoed him by saying that the Society was fully supportive of the idea and would be glad to help the organiation get off the ground. She did however say that there must be evidence that this is what a good number of health trainers want. Mr Ukonu Obasi, Senior Health Trainer and Health Network Administrator then assured them that Health Trainers have shown support for this idea and there will be more concerted action to collect these support and show it. Graham Rushbrook, the London Health Trainer Hub lead, also said that it would be great to have an organization for health trainers, by health trainers that can better highlight the achievements of health trainers and their clients up and down the country.
