Senior Clinical Lectureship Awards

Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to be contacting you to let you know that the Senior Clinical Lectureship Awards for Nurses, Midwives, Allied Health Professionals has been extended to also include Healthcare Scientists.

This will enable us to continue to build research capacity within the HCS workforce.

Funding is available to support a number of senior lectureship awards in the clinical field. The objective of these awards is to build new, high-quality capacity and secure long-term sustainability and enhanced outcomes in research and teaching at senior lecturer level. These awards are funded in partnership with NHS Trusts and universities in England, and aim to create a cohort of ‘new blood’ clinical senior lectureship posts.

Details of the scheme can be found at the link below:

We are trying to ensure all of the Healthcare Science workforce are aware of this new opportunity so please feel free to circulated to any contacts and HCS departments who you feel would be interested in this scheme.
