CCQI Early Intervention in Psychosis Network (EIPN)

CCQI networks use a process of self- and peer-review as the basis for our programmes. Member services will be reviewed against standards for early intervention in psychosis services which are developed by key stakeholders including professionals representing the multi-disciplinary team, service user and carer representatives and policy makers.

The network aims to:

  • Promote a culture of quality improvement within services;
  • Increase the availability of good quality care for service users;
  • Encourage the sharing of knowledge and best practice;
  • Help services plan improvements;
  • Allow services the opportunity to benchmark their practice against other services and monitor their own improvement over time;
  • Help services to demonstrate the quality of care they provide to service users, carers, commissioners and others.

The network is developed with service providers and aims to be responsive to their needs through networking, regular events and support, as well as focussing on individual service development as part of the review process.
