habilitation: The process of assisting an individual with achieving developmental skills when impairments have caused a delay or blocking of initial acquisition of these skills.
reablement: The active process of an individual regaining the skills, confidence and independence to enable them to do things for themselves, rather than having things done for them
recovery: A deeply personal, unique process of changing one’s attitudes, values, feelings, goals skills and roles. It is a way of living a satisfying, hopeful and contributing life even with limitations caused by the illness
