About us

Over the past 12 months, The Christie has developed a network of Informatics Change Agents to support the implementation of IT-Enabled change improvements such as their new eTP.

Implementing IT systems can be a challenge in terms having the  right capability and appropriate capacity to deliver successful change.  To address these issues The Christie decided to create a network of Change Agents from several disciplines, including Service Managers, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Medical Secretaries ,etc.

Following training Change Agents have the opportunity to support change activities on Informatics projects.  The theory being that the people who are best placed to deliver change to an existing service are those currently working to deliver that service.  In return departments have a skilled resource working across a Community of Practice who can be utilised to develop their own service outside of Informatics.
