Central South Coast Cancer Network

The Central South Coast Cancer Network (CSCCN) was established in October 2000, following the launch of the NHS Cancer Plan in September 2000. We are one of 30 Networks striving to work together to develop and deliver the highest quality of cancer services throughout England. The role of the network is to bring together colleagues from across the Cancer Units and Centres, Primary Care Groups/Trusts, the Voluntary Sector, Private Sector and Health Authorities, to make decisions, plan and support implementation of cancer service improvements. The Central South Coast Cancer Network (CSCCN) was established in October 2000, following the launch of the NHS Cancer Plan in September 2000. We are one of 30 Networks striving to work together to develop and deliver the highest quality of cancer services throughout England. The role of the network is to bring together colleagues from across the Cancer Units and Centres, Primary Care Groups/Trusts, the Voluntary Sector, Private Sector and Health Authorities, to make decisions, plan and support implementation of cancer service improvements. One of the main aims of the network is to support commissioners in design and development of services which meet local population needs. The Network covers a geographical area including South Wiltshire, Hampshire, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight and parts of West Sussex. This includes a wide variation of health populations - from rural areas and towns of Salisbury, Winchester, Basingstoke, Chichester and Midhurst to the densely populated cities of Portsmouth, and Southampton.
