Working with patients for better services
Commissioners who work with patients and the public make better decisions and better use of public money. A line-up of speakers headed by community development advocate Cormac Russell present a wealth of evidence for the health and economic benefits of good engagement as the foundation of commissioning strategy and practice. Also on the agenda are Vanguard site West Wakefield Health and Wellbeing Group, Vale of York CCG and a representative from the London borough of Hillingdon, who describes how a multi-agency initiative to work together on engagement is shaping local commissioning and service delivery in north-west London. The event is in London on 1 October.
