Singing to Beat Parkinson's
After last year’s third successful training session, Snape Maltings is delighted to be hosting another two days of training. Since last year, new Parkinson’s groups have been formed and a national network of SING TO BEAT PARKINSON’S groups has now been fully established (singtobeat.co.uk) The course offers a unique and specialist opportunity for musicians and emerging artists to gain invaluable experience and a toolkit to run a Singing Group for people with Parkinson's and their carers.

Introduction to Creative and Credible
This introductory workshop will explore key principles and methodologies for evaluating arts for health and wellbeing programmes. It will examine each phase of the Creative and Credible evaluation cycle, from planning through to dissemination, responding to participants’ questions and providing guidance on when and how to use different evaluation approaches, methods and tools.

#ArtsCan Seminar: Arts, Society & Public Health
An event offering an overview of the latest research into the role of the arts on health behaviours and outcomes at a population level in the UK. The event is being run as part of a Wellcome Fellowship project led by Dr Daisy Fancourt from the Department of Behavioral Science and Health, University College London. The aim of the seminar event is to support arts organisations in keeping up to date with new research into arts and public health and to provide them with data that could inform the development of new programmes of work.
