AHPs are invited to the first meeting of the Integrated Clinical Commissioning Network

Up to AHP Representation on GP commissioning
January 03. 2013

We are pleased to announce that with support from the DH we are amalgamating the two networks (The National Clinical Commissioning Network and the Healthcare Professionals Clinical Commissioning Network)  to create one larger network bringing together GPs and all healthcare professionals into the Integrated Commissioning Community Network or ICCN.

Building on the soft intelligence movement that has grown so much over the past year, we invite you to the first coming together of the Integrated Clinical Commissioning Network. This is a real opportunity for all of you at the front line to come together. National Leaders from many of the key professions will be attending to hear from you how it really is and to help develop the narrative of why 'Stronger Together' is essential to the success of the NCB.

The first meeting of the integrated network is on Wednesday 16th January 2013 at Queens Hotel, City Square, Leeds LS1 1PJ (3 minute walk from Leeds railway station).   9.30 arrival for 10am start until 4pm

There will be workshops in the morning with opportunities to discuss and share ideas, and opportunities in the afternoon to hear from and discuss views with John Bewick (Director of CCG Development) and Bob Ricketts (Director of Commissioning Support and Market Development). Other NHS Commissioning Board Directors may also attend.

An agenda will follow in early January.  Please email Sasha.Foley@nhs-commissioning.net if you are able to attend to secure your place, and for catering purposes.  An early reply is advised, as there are limited places available and they will be given on a first come first served basis.

The Clinical commissioning Community team look forward to working with you all.
