As part of a multidisciplinary collaboration between the Universities of Edinburgh, Birmingham and Nottingham we are undertaking a project to investigate the implementation, adoption and effectiveness of e-Prescribing systems in English hospitals.
Whether you need a system, are implementing a system, or are looking to expand and enhance your capability in this area – this symposium is for you.
Bringing together suppliers, academic partners and NHS staff, we want to build the networks, understand the needs of the health-service, and most importantly to share good practice and develop research questions for the future.
Aims of the day:
For new implementations or those looking to implement in the near future – what to choose, how do you use it, why do you want it?
For those with current e-Prescribing systems – what can you learn from or share with others?
How can research find the answers to questions to support e-Prescribing delivery in the NHS (developing a toolkit for the NHS)
