Vital sight loss support for blind vision impaired ex-Service men and women
Blind Veterans UK’s No One Alone campaign is calling for healthcare professionals to ensure they signpost blind and vision impaired ex-Service men and women to vital sight loss services and support.
Tens of thousands of Armed Forces and National Service veterans are now estimated to be battling severe sight loss and could be eligible for the charity’s support but they don’t currently know about the support available.
Blind Veterans UK provides specialist training, rehabilitation, equipment and emotional support to veterans no matter how or when they lost their sight.
