Transformation funding for urgent and emergency mental health services
Applications are now open for transformation funding for urgent and emergency liaison mental health services in acute hospitals.
The funding is available to support the national commitment to delivering a “core 24” standard of liaison mental health services for adults of all ages in at least 50% of emergency departments and general inpatient wards across the country. Proposals must demonstrate how acute hospitals will achieve and sustain the core standard of services and should be submitted by accident and emergency delivery boards via STPs to regional urgent and emergency care programme management offices (UEC PMOs), copied to england.adultMH@nhs.net, before 5pm on 18 January 2017.
