The morning after: a cross party inquiry into unplanned pregnancy

This survey, carried out by a cross party parliamentary inquiry, found that over half of unplanned pregnancies happen because people are not using sufficient contraception.

It highlights a need for more adequate sex education in schools and improved access to contraception for over 25s. It makes policy recommendations for royal colleges, the Department of Health, the NHS Commissioning Board and local authorities in order to tackle the rate of unplanned pregnancies.
