The IRIS intervention provides a staff training and support programme to bridge the gap between the voluntary sector and primary care, to harness the strengths of each, and to provide an improved domestic violence service.

Local champions are essential to promote the service among their professional peers and encourage implementation. This report documents early experiences of implementing a successful primary care domestic violence service.
