The future role of pharmacy in public health

The pharmacy and public health forum will be holding a series of events around the country to raise awareness of the important role that pharmacy can play in delivering effective public health services in England.

The events will be of particular interest to local authorities, which will be taking on the leadership role for public health from April 2013 and may be unaware of the important contribution that pharmacy can make to improve health locally.

These events are open to pharmacists and their teams, clinical commissioning groups, health and wellbeing boards, local authorities and councillors, the voluntary sector and public health professionals.
