Strengthening rights for people with learning disabilities

The government is seeking views to strengthen rights of people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health issues to enable them to live independently.

The consultation, called “No voice unheard, no right ignored”, is sponsored by Norman Lamb, minister of state for care and support, and Gavin Harding, co-chair of the transforming care assurance board.
