Staffing in medical schools holds stable

The latest annual survey of staffing levels in medical schools in the UK finds that the number of clinical academics has remained relatively while numbers with a public health specialism have risen.

The survey highlights a fall in numbers in psychiatry, paediatrics and child health, and also in pathology where it notes recruitment concerns.
