Satisfaction with the NHS suffers historic fall

Public satisfaction with the NHS fell dramatically last year, according to the results of the British Social Attitudes survey.

The decline in satisfaction from 70% to 58% is the biggest in the survey’s 19 year history. The King’s Fund, which published the results, was unable to offer an explanation for the decline, but other sources were quick to see the vote as a proxy for general disapproval of the NHS reforms.
