Review of senior NHS salaries and redundancy arrangements in arms-length bodies

Health secretary Jeremy Hunt has written to the chief executives of the health arm's-length bodies (ALBs) in England asking them to review their senior salaries and redundancy arrangements.

As part of the process they have been asked to justify payment of salaries of over £100,000.

The review may lead to a limit being set on the number of posts in ALBs paid over £100,000.
