Responsiveness of primary care is complex and subjective, study finds

What does it mean for a primary care service to be responsive? This question is addressed by a study published by the National Institute of Health Research, which concludes that the answer depends not just on the service delivered but on the expectations of patients, which vary among different groups.

The research also set out to develop a questionnaire to allow patients to report their experience of care.
