Report charts biological treatments for rheumatoid arthritis in the EU

This study finds that English and Welsh guidelines require a more advanced stage of disease before biological agents are used to treat rheumatoid arthritis.

This paper draws on a review of existing literature on rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in Europe and variations in clinical guidelines for its treatment, and compares current guidelines across 12 member states of the European Union. It finds significant variations in access to the biological agents to treat RA.
