Primary care report: government response

The government’s response to the health select committee primary care report explains the measures which have been put in place to support primary care and improve patients’ access to services.

These include increasing funding for primary medical care by £2.4 billion per year by the end of the financial year 2020 to 2021 and increasing the number of GPs.
