Primary care premises essentials

The NHS will require the development of existing and new premises to deliver patient centred services in the community. Strategic planning of estates now will ensure that funding is used to best effect and efficiencies realised.

This workshop, for CCG and NHS England commissioners, will help you to understand the principles of best practice for the procurement and development of primary medical care infrastructure such as premises improvement grants, primary care infrastructure fund, the toolkits available to ensure the  appropriate prioritisation of resources, section 106 and community infrastructure levy, effective partnership arrangements,  the management of premises, including minimum standards, infection and prevention control and rental implications including abatements. The workshops will be held on 22 July in London, 15 September in Leeds and 11 November in Birmingham.
