New resource helps GPs diagnose brain tumours in children

A new resource to support GPs, their teams and parents to spot signs of brain tumours in children and young people has been launched today by the Royal College of GPs, in partnership with the University of Nottingham.

Brain tumours account for a quarter of all UK childhood cancers and are the commonest cause of cancer death in children.

The toolkit identifies “red flag” symptoms and provides up-to-date guidance and training resources all in one place.
