New arrangements for primary care support services from February

On 1 September 2015, Capita took responsibility for the delivery of NHS England's primary care support services.

The new name for the service is Primary Care Support England (PCSE). Its job is to reduce the administrative burden on primary care.

NHS England has published a briefing on how services will be delivered through three regional centres and an online service for ordering supplies, managing medical records, GP payments and pension and performer list applications.
