More local health and care partnerships announced
NHS England has announced that two more areas - Yorkshire and Humber, and Thames Valley and Surrey – are to become local health and care record exemplars, which means that 23.5 million people live in areas covered by the programme.
Last month NHS England announced three areas, covering 14 million people, would each receive up to £7.5m over two years to put in place an electronic shared local health and care record. The record will make the relevant information about people instantly available to everyone involved in their care and support. More....
