Measuring outcomes in integrated services

With the accelerated development of integrated care systems, one of the major success factors will be to demonstrate positive patient outcomes rather than counting activity. This has been achieved in some areas – but they struggled to define meaningful outcomes to enable providers to focus on joined up services rather than the financial balance of individual organisations. Creating measurable contractual outcomes has been particularly challenging, but some areas have shown that it can be done.

This event on 1 May in London will consider learning to date, implications for patients, and the technical requirements for successful implementation.

Delegates will have the opportunity to debate the implications of the proposed integrated care provider (ICP) contract in a session led by a leading healthcare lawyer.

This event is not to be missed if you are a commissioner seeking to secure value from integrated services or a provider likely to enter into an ICP contract in future. It is free to attend for CCG chief officers, directors of commissioning and directors of finance, and for CCG delegates with an existing annual contract with PCC. Places will be limited and allocated at our discretion.
