Managers in Partnership 2011 event

Despite the rhetoric about protecting health services, the reality is that managers are under pressure to deliver more with less.

MiP's fifth annual conference will examine how managers are managing the public spending squeeze and look at how the age of austerity is impacting on the patient experience, staff morale and managers’ own well being.

This year’s MiP annual conference has a fantastic line-up. It will be chaired by Ben Page, chief executive of Ipsos Mori and other confirmed speakers include:

 *   Rt Hon Stephen Dorrell MP, chair, Health Select Committee

 *   David Nicholson, chief executive, NHS

 *   Christina McAnea, head of health, UNISON

 *   Helen Northall, chief executive, PCC

 *   Joan Saddler, national director for patient and public affairs, Department of Health

 *   Lord Bichard, senior fellow, Institute of Government

The event is on 23 November in London. To register see http://managersinpartnership.cmail3.com/t/y/i/gddidt/l
