Health and Care Intelligence Specialist Apprenticeship
Public Health England has led the development of a new apprenticeship standard aimed at those who want to be data analysts in a health, public health or care setting.
The Health and Care Intelligence Specialist standard is approved by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education and will provide an accessible training route for analysts and related roles focused on working with health and population data. The standard is at level 7 (equivalent of a master’s degree). It is expected that it will normally take three years to complete the apprenticeship. Once completed, successful apprentices can choose to become registered with the Association of Professional Healthcare Analysts.
