Greater Manchester to pilot trans health service

NHS England is inviting expressions of interest in running a trans health service pilot in a primary care setting in Greater Manchester.

As a direct commissioner of specialised healthcare for gender dysphoria, we are looking to commission and directly contract for an early adopter pilot that will evaluate how treatment interventions delivered by a specialist gender dysphoria clinic can be delivered by a primary care team. The pilot will be hosted in Greater Manchester over a two-year period starting this year. The deadline for expressions of interest is 14 February 2019.
