Government invests in global partnership to treat gonorrhoea

The government is to invest £3.5m in new treatments for gonorrhoea which are to be made available to low- and middle-income countries.

The investment is part of a continued partnership with the Global Antibiotic Research and Development Partnership (GARDP), a not-for-profit research and development organisation co-founded by the World Health Organisation and the Drugs for Neglected Disease initiative in 2016.
