Department seeks non-executive directors of the Care Quality Commission
The secretary of state for health is seeking to appoint up to five non-executive directors to the Care Quality Commission (CQC). CQC is the independent regulator of health and adult social care providers in England.
The non-executive directors will work alongside the chair to provide strong and effective support to the CQC in order to ensure it achieves its high-level objectives. One of the directors will also act as the chair of the audit and risk committee.
