Demand for children’s specialist palliative care underestimated

The number of children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions who are surviving into adulthood has been underestimated, according to new research.

The study, published in the journal Pediatrics, was a collaboration between the University of Leeds, Martin House Children’s Hospice in Yorkshire, and the Children’s Hospital, Cardiff and was funded by Together for Short Lives.
