CQC issues guidance on use of surveillance by providers

The Care Quality Commission has published information for all health and adult social care providers considering or already using surveillance in their service.

Agreed by the CQC board at the public meeting on 19 November, the information sets out some of the key issues providers should take into account to help ensure any decisions about the potential use of surveillance are informed, appropriate and lawful.

Separate information for families, carers and people who use health and adult social care services will be published in the New Year. More .....
