Contracting for new care models

PCC and Capsticks have tracked the development of new care models through these events, which present the most up-to-date view of the options for commissioners and providers considering contracts based on multispeciality community provider (MCP), primary and acute care systems (PACS) and other new models.

The event uses case studies to illustrate how leading health economies are trying to marry the local flexibilities granted by the authors of the Five Year Forward View with the legal and regulatory constraints that also need to be observed. Hear from experts who have been involved in the design of systems expected to evolve into the accountable care organisations (ACOs) of tomorrow, and exchange experiences about the opportunities and challenges of the evolving contracting landscape with colleagues from other health economies. The session includes the latest analysis of the just-released draft MCP contract.

The event will be held on 22 March 2017 in Birmingham.
