Commissioning guidance for urgent eye care, low vision and AMD

Dr David Geddes, head of primary care commissioning at NHS England has urged commissioners to read new eye care guidance from the College of Optometrists and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.

The guidance recommends how to improve the efficiency and quality of services for urgent eye care, low vision and age-related macular degeneration, the biggest cause of sight loss in the UK.
