Commissioning and the legal implications of COVID-19

COVID-19 has implications for commissioners, from disruption of processes, to making decisions on resource allocation, and assuring the quality and human rights compliance of provision.

This half-day virtual session on 6 October provides commissioners with the opportunity to consider their commissioning obligations from a legal perspective in light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation.  It will enable them to move forward with confidence that they are acting within the legal framework at a particularly difficult time.  It is led by a lawyer, from healthcare law specialists Hill Dickinson, who has first-hand experience of working on some of the recent most high profile cases.  The session includes time for delegates to explore specific issues they face or are concerned about.
