Chief medical officer reports on women’s health

The chief medical officer Dame Sally Davies identifies several missed opportunities for intervention in women’s health, and highlights embarrassment as a needless barrier to health in a new report.

The report has been developed with the help of expert academic and clinician input and recommends that obesity be included in the government’s national risk planning.

The report includes recommendations for a number of NHS organisations.
