Changes to HPV vaccination doses

Public Health England, the Department of Health and NHS England are advising a change from two to three doses of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine from September 2014.

The HPV vaccine is currently routinely offered to girls aged 12 to 13 in school year 8.

This follows a recommendation from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) this March.
