CCGs approved for joint commissioning of GP services

Over a third of CCGs have been approved to jointly commission GP services with NHS England.

The news follows last week’s announcement of the first CCGs approved to take on greater delegated responsibility for GP services and means that from 1 April, 150 CCGs (70%) will take on greater commissioning responsibility for GP services.
