Delegate registration is now open for The Vascular Societies Annual Scientific Meeting 2015

We are pleased to announce for the first time the Vascular Society, Society of Vascular Nurses and the Society for Vascular Technology are working together to bring you one single integrated event – The Vascular Societies Annual Scientific Meeting. The theme for this year’s meeting will be “The rare, the urgent and the difficult!"

Taking place from the 11 – 13 November 2015, at the Bournemouth International Centre, this event features expert speakers who will deliver engaging sessions on the latest in vascular education and research.

The Programme:

With an exciting and comprehensive programme on offer, this year's conference features specialist sessions for Vascular Surgeons, Vascular Nurses and Vascular Scientists, and also includes debates, masterclasses, oral abstracts, company symposia, workshops and access to a large industry exhibition.

Vascular Surgeon session highlights include the “President’s Session: The urgent, the rare and the difficult”, featuring Martin Bjorck, Rob Fisher, Eitan Heldenberg, and Rod Chalmers. This year’s "Kinmonth Lecture" will be delivered by David Nott.

Thursday's Vascular Nurse session highlights include: amputation, deep venous disease, diabetic foot, AAA screening and the first joint debate with the Rouleaux Club. On Wednesday afternoon there is the opportunity to join the "Hands-On Basic Endovascular Training Course" for Vascular Specialist Nurses.

Vascular Scientist highlights on Thursday include lectures by invited speakers including Pelvic vein Imaging & Embolisation & a debate on Graft and Stent Surveillance. There is also a study afternoon on Wednesday focusing on Transcranial Doppler & Duplex diagnosis of Temporal Arteritis.

The following CPD points will be awarded:

·  8 points for Wednesday/Thursday

·  6 points for Friday
